Blog Post #6: Group or Solo?

I will be woking on the midterm paper with Halenur Komsul who has agreed to write on the technology of smartphone software / operating systems and how they psychology affect different age groups. The salient social identity we are focusing on is “age”. We will be interviewing people in different age groups who use this technology regularly (10-12 yrs olds, 20-22 year olds, and people who are older) and see how they may feel that smartphone usage has negatively, psychologically, affected them. While these groups may not be “targeted” groups, we hope to find that there is an age group that is surely suffering from it more than others.
